Print design services in Cornwall

Good print design should make information clear, give a business a recognisable presence and feel right for the way it will be used.

We design brochures, leaflets, maps, packaging, stationery, signage and promotional materials for businesses and organisations in Cornwall and beyond.

Because we also provide branding, bespoke illustration and website design, we can develop the visual language of a project and carry it consistently from screen to finished print.

Print designed for its purpose

Plan the piece

We begin with the audience, the information and where the finished item will be used.

Format, quantity, budget, stock and practical considerations can then be addressed before they become limitations.

Create the design

We organise words and images so the important information is easy to find and the finished piece has a clear visual character.

Typography, colour, photography and illustration are brought together without getting in the way of the message.

Prepare and produce

We prepare accurate artwork and can liaise with printers, sign makers and other specialist suppliers.

Where useful, we can help with proofs, paper choices, finishes, production and delivery.

From a single item to a joined-up range

Some projects begin with one menu, map or brochure. Others need a coordinated family of materials that will work across several locations, events or stages of a customer journey.

We shape the work around what is genuinely useful now while considering how it might be adapted later. This helps a growing range remain recognisable without forcing every item into exactly the same layout.

Print is physical, so the fold, scale, stock, finish and durability all influence how a design communicates. We consider those decisions as part of the design rather than treating production as an afterthought.

Print design in practice

These two projects show how print can organise a wide range of information while creating a consistent experience across different formats and settings.

Illustrated Padstow Holiday Village map and welcome leaflet designed for Lovat Holiday Parks

Ongoing print and visitor communications

Lovat Holiday Parks

Our long-term work for Lovat spans welcome leaflets, illustrated park maps, activity materials, signage, retail displays, event graphics and communications around its B Corp commitments.

Each item has a distinct job, but the wider system remains recognisable across several parks. The work combines practical information, illustration and production decisions suited to where the finished piece will be handled or displayed.

Visitor attraction print

Pencarrow House and Gardens

Pencarrow needs printed materials that help visitors plan, explore and understand the house and gardens while retaining the character of the historic setting.

We have designed and print-managed its guide book, group-visit leaflets, illustrated garden trails and seasonal event campaigns. The range balances useful visitor information with a clear and consistent visual identity.

What can a print project include?

  • Brochures, leaflets, booklets and catalogues
  • Maps, guides and activity materials
  • Posters, invitations and event campaigns
  • Packaging, labels and point-of-sale materials
  • Signage, exhibition and vehicle graphics
  • Stationery and promotional items

The exact mix depends on the audience, quantity, budget and setting. We can recommend a suitable format, stock, finish and production method rather than asking you to arrive with every technical decision already made.

Who do we design print for?

We work with visitor attractions, hospitality and tourism businesses, shops, food and drink companies, accommodation providers, professional services, charities and community organisations.

Some clients come to us with one finished brief. Others need help deciding which materials will be most useful or bringing an inconsistent collection of items into one clearer system.

Design and production working together

Between us, we have been working in print since the 1990s, so we are comfortable with both the design and production sides of a project.

We consider folds, paper stocks, finishing, budgets, installation and practical use early in the process. We can supply finished artwork to your chosen producer or manage production with trusted suppliers, depending on the project.
