Wow this is rather stunning, this bridge goes beyond its primary function, performing as both sculpture and museum. Firm BIG designed a multipurpose structure for the Kistefos Sculpture Park in Jevnaker, Norway. Once the home of a paper pulp mill now a habitat for art.

The bridge rather cleverly turns a problem into an asset, the differing levels of the two banks are united beautifully by the twisting design.

Inside the viewer moves from covered shelter to glorious light and woodland views.
