Shrinx Chair

As I am sure you are aware by now we at Pickle are partial to a good chair design. This one recently caught our eye, a new lounge chair by Boris Berlin for +Halle.

This may look like a familiar shape but where usually a chunky chair like this would be filled with foam, Shrinx uses heat-shrunk textiles over a light weight metal frame instead.

The fabric isn’t stretched around the frame, it’s draped and shrunk, hence the name. The sheer fabric adds a lightness to a classic club chair form.
