Holiday park leaflet and visitor map design

We first developed a new range of welcome leaflets for Sun Haven, Lovat Holiday Parks’ coastal park at Mawgan Porth in Cornwall. The design needed to feel recognisably Lovat while reflecting the park’s countryside setting and proximity to the sea.

The Sun Haven leaflets were designed as A3 roll folds, creating six clear panels for welcome information, accommodation details, illustrated site maps and local recommendations. We printed them in full colour on a high-quality uncoated stock, giving each leaflet a substantial and tactile finish.

The approach was later adapted for other Lovat locations, including Padstow Holiday Village, Green Hill Farm, Parbola and Penmarlam. Photography, colours, maps and illustrations were adjusted to reflect the character of each park while retaining a recognisable visual structure.

Not every park required the same format. For Green Hill Farm, we designed a pad of removable guest information sheets that could be pulled out and handed to visitors on arrival. Each sheet combined welcome information with an illustrated site map and practical details about the park.

Designing the maps alongside the printed materials allowed facilities, accommodation and local features to be presented clearly without losing the friendly, informal character of the wider Lovat brand.
