Lovat Holiday Parks

Children’s activity book design and illustration

We created two playful Into the Wild activity books for Lovat Holiday Parks, designed to help younger guests explore, discover nature and make more of their countryside and coastal stays.

Into the Wild

Lovat Holiday Parks wanted to give younger guests something they could use throughout their stay, encouraging them to explore, notice wildlife and make memories along the way.

We created two versions of the Into the Wild activity book, one for countryside parks and one for coastal locations. Each brings together games, challenges, nature activities and space for children to record what they discover.

Illustration with plenty to discover

The books use playful hand-drawn illustration throughout, with wildlife, plants, shells and other details becoming part of the activities as well as the overall character of the design.

The layouts needed to feel lively and inviting while still making each activity easy to understand, from spot-the-difference puzzles and wildlife identification to games, drawing and outdoor challenges.

Designed for the whole stay

Rather than being something children simply complete once, the books were designed to accompany a family holiday, encouraging children to look around them, explore the parks and take part in activities as their stay unfolds.
