Graphic Design for a Cornish Lifestyle Brand

Since 2019, we have worked alongside The Cornish Surfer on an evolving range of design projects. What began as support for a growing Cornish lifestyle brand has developed into an ongoing creative collaboration, helping Anouska turn ideas into finished artwork for products, print and displays.

Developing an Existing Identity

The Cornish Surfer already had a logo and a clear sense of the brand she wanted to create. Working closely together, we helped develop the wider visual language around it, including the surfer illustration, wave and stripe motifs and, later, new patterns for an expanding homeware collection.

This collaborative approach has allowed the identity to grow without losing the character that makes The Cornish Surfer recognisable. You can see more of that process in our brand development case study.

From Homewares to Print

Over the years, the artwork has been adapted for a wide range of applications, including ceramics, textiles, bedding, reusable bottles and exhibition graphics. We have also worked with The Cornish Surfer on a coffee-table book featuring landscape photography by Matt Keeble.

Each project brings its own practical requirements, whether artwork needs to work across different materials, at a much larger scale or within a supplier’s production specifications.

Ongoing Creative Support

Because we know the brand and how its visual elements work together, we can often help quickly when a new product, supplier or idea comes along. That continuity has become an important part of the relationship, allowing the brand to keep developing while remaining consistent across very different applications.
