We can work from a clear brief or help develop the idea with you. Early sketches allow us to agree the direction before the final artwork is refined.

We also consider how the work will perform at different sizes and in different settings. A set of illustrations might need to remain clear on a small website icon, work across printed visitor materials and hold its own on a large display.

Lovat Holiday Parks, The Big Five

Lovat Holiday Parks wanted to help families discover the endangered wildlife found near its parks in Cornwall, the New Forest and Norfolk.

We created a friendly, recognisable collection of animal illustrations and developed them across interactive maps, regional activity guides, medals, stickers, postcards and social media. The joined-up campaign gave children different ways to explore, learn and take part.

Brand Dufour

Brand Dufour needed a personal and engaging way to communicate the thinking behind its consultancy.

We created a bespoke set of illustrated posters using narrative imagery, texture and carefully chosen colour. Each piece works as an individual artwork while contributing to a clear visual expression of the brand’s ethos and values.

Who is illustration for?

Working with Pickle Design

Pickle Design is a small design studio in Wadebridge, Cornwall. We can develop an illustration from an initial idea, work within an established identity or create a new visual direction for the project.

Because we also handle branding, websites and design for print, we can take care of the wider setting in which the illustration will appear. That keeps the artwork, layout and practical production requirements working together from the start.
