Yuni Yoshida’s Clever Fruit

Art director Yuni Yoshida is quite something, her work is playful, surreal, polished and filled with double-takes. In particular I love her fruit. Anything like this just makes me think of what our parents would say – ‘don’t play with your food’, but Yoshida takes playfulness to another level.

There is also a graphic element to these fruit scenarios. Pixelation, brush stokes, opacities – all hinting a digital art but are actually carved by hand.
