Warm Terracotta

Terracotta tiles are standard fare across the sunnier side of the world, this house though makes me appreciate the material in a new light. The warmth of the hues and tactile patterns bring interest to a clean and sparse place.

Its an unusual take, the blocks are filled with plaster to great effect. TEd’A arquitectes created this holiday home in Mallorca and I feel it strikes the perfect balance of warm and cool.
