The Flak Stool

Sometimes furniture comes complete with its own character, and that is what I love about the Flak stool by Punt. The modern furniture brand was set up in Valencia in 1980 and has created some beautiful pieces over the years.

The Flak oak bar stool is by designer Nathan Yong and exists in perfect balance. In some ways the stool in particular feels like a pile of logs assembled around a camp fire, rustic, basic, but there is also a Nordic nod with honest wood and clean lines.
