Quay House Apartments

Logo Design & Brand Identity

Quay House asked us to create a new identity for three holiday apartments tucked beside a creek near Padstow. We wanted the design to feel calm and distinctive, drawing on the setting without becoming an obvious coastal logo.

Fine typography is paired with an illustrated curlew, a bird often seen along the creek. Lines developed from the tail of the letter ‘Q’ suggest moving water and give the name a subtle connection to its surroundings.

A warm blue sits at the heart of the palette, supported by white and green colourways that allow the identity to work across the website, signage and print. Additional nautical illustrations extend the visual language without competing with the logo.
