Invisible Things Take Shape

12th June 2023

You have perhaps seen across the social sphere, and now in physical form, the wonderful work of illustrator Andy J. Pizza. His ‘Invisible Things‘ gives form to those hard to describe thoughts and feelings that we try to name and pin down. Asking, if hope had an appearance, what would it be? What does melancholy look like, and can you characterise the heebie-jeebies?

A project that made its debut on Twitter back in 2013 and subsequently went viral, this simple expression of human emotion has now found substance in Noah Camp’s 3D printed models.

With a book coming out this July, the cute and slightly scary characters seem to be multiplying.

I am particularly fond of ‘a song stuck in your head’ and ‘the giggles’!
