Designing and laying out Joy Manne’s book, No I Won’t go to Bed Tonight, was a very enjoyable project.
Trudi Drewett was the illustrator and we worked together to make the typography flow well with the images. The book has a child-like style with colourful spreads and quirky characters.
It was a great project to be involved in and we hope you will be reading it to your children very soon!!

This being a chapter book we needed to consider the age of the reader, the legibility but also keeping the pages fun and engaging.
We used Trudi’s lovely illustrations to brighten the page. Where necessary we cropped, edited and colour corrected the drawings so they fitted the format best.
Our role was to bring together all the elements and also help self-publish the book.
